Filler Options
Juvederm
This dermal filler is one of the newest hyaluronic acid gel fillers available to patients. Juvederm results can last up to a year, and because of the smooth consistency of the gel, we can make very slight improvements to nearly anyone’s skin.
Restylane®
Much like Juvederm, Restylane also uses hyaluronic acid gel to add volume to skin, but Restylane is not as smooth. Restylane enable doctors to add more volume to specific areas of the face, lessening the appearance of deeper fold, like those around your nose and mouth.
These filler options are wonderful for patients who would like to look younger, but do not want to go through the difficult process of receiving a facelift or brow lift. In addition to be non-invasive, Juvederm and Restylane results are temporary; allowing you to maintain your appearance they way you want to.
Both Juvederm and Restylane can be performed in conjunction with many of our other cosmetic and vision procedures, such as LASIK, eyelid surgery, or BOTOX.
If you live in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma area and you are considering Juvederm or Restylane fillers, please contact the experienced doctors at Hummel Eye Associates to schedule an initial consultation.

What is Restylane?
Restylane is a gel made out of hyaluronic acid gel. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that is found naturally within the body, which is a benefit because there is a very small chance of any allergic reaction. Since hyaluronic acid is already present in the body, it allows the Restylane results to be temporary because the body will slowly absorb the hyaluronic acid gel over time.
During a Restylane procedure, we will identify the parts of your face that you would like to improve, or plump up. Then, we will make tiny injections of Restylane into the deep layers of the, adding volume and lessening the appearance of lines and wrinkles on your face.
Another great benefit of Restylane is that the procedure can be performed in conjunction with many other vision or cosmetic procedures, such as LASIK, eyelid surgery, PRK, or Clear Lens Exchange (CLE).
If you would like to learn more about Restylane benefits, please contact Dr. Deena Sylvester at Hummel Eye Associates in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to schedule an initial consultation today.

Premium Lens Options
We provide our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma patients with a variety of premium IOL options so that they can see clearly without glasses or contacts:
• Crystalens – These IOLs most closely mimic the movement and focusing ability of the eye’s natural lens. Crystalens IOLs have hinges that attach to the small muscles within the eye. These muscles then push and pull the lens so that light is focused and patients can see at different distances.
• ReSTOR –ReSTOR uses apodized diffractive technology to focus light that enters the eye in a way so that patients can see objects at any distance.
For some people, it can take a few weeks to adjust to seeing with these premium lenses, but for others, the benefits are immediate. If you would like to learn more about premium lenses in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma area, please contact us at Hummel Eye Associates to schedule an initial consultation.
