• At least 18 years old so that your eyes are fully developed
• Stable prescription for at least one year

• Willing and able to follow through with post-operative appointments and self-care
• One or more of the following refractive errors

Myopia
Hyperopia
Astigmatism

Factors which may indicate that you should not have LASIK  right now include:

• Pregnancy or nursing
• Eye infection within the last year
• Eye injury within the last year
• History of herpes of the eye
• Corneal scarring
• Autoimmune disorder
• Dry eye
• Pupils too large

• Unstable or uncontrolled diabetes
• Taking medications which suppress the immune system
• History of excessive scarring
