Brad Britton, MD

Dr. Britton is a highly experienced board-certified refractive eye surgeon specializing in LASIK and cataract treatments, with a reputation as one of the leading surgeons in both Oklahoma and the United States. He has been recognized as one of the top 50 surgeons in North America and has trained numerous eye doctors across Canada and the U.S. in various refractive procedures.

Beyond his surgical practice in Oklahoma City, Dr. Britton is dedicated to giving back to those in need through medical mission trips. He has participated in multiple trips to Guatemala, where he provides expert surgical care to local communities.

Throughout his career, Dr. Britton has performed over 36,000 cataract surgeries and more than 24,000 LASIK procedures. His diverse patient base includes family members and numerous referring doctors, and he has personally opted for LASIK to enhance his own vision.

In addition to cataract treatment and LASIK, Dr. Britton specializes in alternative procedures related to LASIK surgery, offering patients options that may better suit their individual needs. As one of the few eye surgeons in Oklahoma certified to use Visian® ICL™ (implantable Collamer® lenses), he provides an effective alternative to LASIK for those seeking permanent vision correction without the removal of natural tissue. The Visian ICL is particularly beneficial for individuals with myopia or nearsightedness.

Moreover, Dr. Britton is Summit and VISX™ trained in photorefractive keratectomy (PRK), an FDA-approved procedure that reshapes the cornea to address various vision issues. Similar to LASIK, PRK utilizes a laser for vision correction and is effective in treating farsightedness, nearsightedness, and astigmatism.
